Hooray – We’re having a Zoom Dance

It’s been an awfully long time since we had a Ryburn Three Step dance at Waring Green Community Centre – February 2020, to be exact! It still seems unlikely that we’ll be able to get together for some time, so we are going to try virtual ceilidh at last.

So – we have organised a Zoom dance on Saturday 17th April. The caller will be Nancy Potts, who has spent lockdown working on re-imagined dances suitable for dancing at home with partners, family or cuddly toys. Live music will be provided by other members of her family, Diane Moody and Gordon Potts (Committee Band/Panjandrum etc), who certainly know a thing or two about playing for dancing.

We won’t be charging for admission but we do encourage attendees to make a donation to Nancy – these are difficult times for musicians, as you know. Details of how to do this will be included in the joining email which you will receive shortly before the dance.

Virtual doors will open at 7.15 ready to start at 7.30 and we will aim to finish the dance at 9.00.
